This is to be my second recommendation of some DS Homebrew that I stumbled upon. I was looking to stick an irc client back on my DS as I was going to be away from my computer for a bit, and when I checked to see if there was anything better out there than the Irc in DS ORGANISE I found this, quite frankly AMAZING piece of homebrew made by Cluster.

A bit dissapointed in other Irc clients on the DS he took it upon himself to code this amazing piece of homebrew, it is the most feature packed Irc program on the DS I have ever come across, it’s like having a handheld version of mIRC.

I have decided to add a repository for DS homebrew on my site, sometimes it’s hard to sort the good stuff from the bad and although many sites out there try and do this, well none of them do it very well, at least none that I have found. So here I start with one of my favorites…

Colors! is a simplistic digital painting application for Nintendo DS based on modern painting-techniques developed for drawing tablets in programs like Photoshop. By taking advantage of the pressure sensitivity of the DS touch-screen it becomes a perfect portable digital sketch-book.

Colors is a great little homebrew app, and probably one of my favorite. You can even connect via wi-fi and send the pictures over the internet. And that’s not all it has a huge community based around it and even an Online Gallery so please visit thier site and if you havn’t already picked this up get it now.

I have recently been given the permission to add this cool Java applet by Ben Jaques, which can playback some of my pictures from the DS Pictoblogging category.

By Default I don’t display my scribbles on my main page here, instead I prefer to keep them inside a category, but from time to time I will upload a playback file so you can see what it looks like.

I upgraded my DS Pictoblogging category to use the new color images. I’ll probably be doodling a lot now though maybe only my good pics will end up on thier gallery.

Now i just need them to add some more things to it such as:

• Add a custom subject for the email / blog post
• Add custom email text / blog post text
• Be able to choose to send as an email, or as a blog post using the much used XMLRPC standard
• Make me able to draw better
• oh and store the email address or blog details, so we dont have to re-enter them

Well it might be a long list, but easy to impliment, except for 1 maybe that would take time. I can dream.
