Thought I’d update the site for Christmas. And a video below, not Christmas relateed but sure to put a smile on yer face.

I think it’s time I quit. I think now I am smoking more out of habbit than for pleasure, becuase that is how it starts, that is how it starts for all drugs, at the beggining the positive feeling you get from it out weigh the downs and the risks involved, and then slowly but surely the risks and negitives outweigh the positives.
Apparently i’ve been told I start saying i’ll quit every time I run out of tobacco, well that may be true, but i never have actually attempted to quit just knew that I should at some point, like all smokers know they should quit, however this time i’m going to follow my words with some action.

What actually annoys me is that it’s coming up to new years which is “that time of year” when everyone tries to give up something, so fuck it, im not giving up until after then, so i can see everyone around me try and give up something, then i can laugh in thier face when I succeed later. I guess I should make a date mark it on my calendar.. so I’m gonna say end of January, hell that may seem like a way off to many of you, but I plan to go cold turkey so I am giving myself some “weening time” by smoking a little less up to then, hopefully that way it will be easy , because i’ll be fucked if im spending more money on nicorette patches or crap like that, though I have heard hypnosis is the new thing to do and that it works very well.

On a different note, I got to play on a Nintendo Wii today , Wii Sports and Zelda twilight Princess and I gotta say it really doesnt dissapoint, I didnt play too much on Wii Sports I gotta say becasue Zelda is Awesome! And recently I had been playing Ocarina of time on the N64 and i got to say the controls don’t feel a giant leap from that, other than you shake and stab and stuff.

Anyway , i decided to not play anymore on it until I have my own Wii sometime, I don’t want to get entranced in the story (like i know i would) until i can complete it and play nonstop ;).

Just lately with the coming of Christmas and the release of the new consoles I have been trying to decide whether or not I should sell my old consoles and computers. I have kept all of my old computers and consoles dating back to my very first (commodore 16/plus 4) , I have 2 Amiga’s, A snes, An N64, I’m pretty sure a sega genesis is somewhere in the garage along with a playstation 1, my ps2 and about 3-4 gameboys/gba in various editions as they came out.

With the next gen systems coming out and the backwards compatability built in to these systems I really don’t see the need for my PS2 to be gathering dust whilst I play on my Xbox360. Don’t get me wrong, i’ll miss it to death, infact i think i’m a bit too emotionally attatched to it , but there plenty more out there and I’m pretty sure what with all the games and accessories I have I can get enough for it to compensate the price of a Wii , a few Xbox360 titles, Maybe a few Xbox titles that were on the ps2 or at least enough to cover the christmas spending period.

Infact as I write this I can feel myself not wanting to sell it, but I don’t think i’d be on it as much as I used to. It’s been a great system and can even play imports, i guess i’ll be playing them on a mates ps2 for now (or my sisters). I’d like to say I’d still be able to play some of my favorites on a ps3, however that console is far too expensive and far too full of glitches at the moment, bring on the Wii!

If I do sell it, it will probably be on ebay, and i’ll add the link here if anyone is interested. Btw the image above isnt my Ps2, though it is a limited edition silver version.

This made me laugh a whole bunch, enjoy.

So recently I picked up the cute Xbox360 game Viva Pinata, and i got to say i think im addicted to it, which is actually a really bad thing as im gonna be REALLY busy working leading up to christmas it looks like. Well I guess being really busy is better than wasting endless hours in a video game, cos that doesnt pay the bills (or pay for other video games either).

Anyway if you got an Xbox360 and you are looking for a game to pickup or simply looking for something different to the FPS titles out there i definatly reccommend picking it up, but I do warn you, it is not only HIGHLY addictive but also if you have a girlfriend they will try and demand playing it on your Xbox for HOURS ON END, so you better hide it well!!
